Art for a while – Art Rental
A work of art can transform a space. It creates atmosphere, invites people to linger and adds a personal touch.
With my art rental service in the Freiburg and Basel area, you can experience original artworks and continually refresh your spaces without having to make a long-term commitment. Whether for a practice, office, law firm, hotel, holiday apartment or private home: you can choose one or several works from my gallery and rent them for an agreed period of time.
I am happy to advise you on selecting the right artworks, personally deliver the pieces and install them in your space.
If, at some point, you would like a rented artwork to become a permanent part of your surroundings, purchasing it is of course also possible. Any rental payments already made will be fully deducted from the purchase price.
How it works:
1. Get inspired by the artworks in my gallery.
2. Send me an enquiry via the contact form.
3. If you wish, I will be happy to advise you on selecting the right artwork and can also visit your premises to get a better impression of the space.
4. If desired, you are welcome to view the artworks in advance at my studio in Freiburg Wiehre.
5. Once payment has been received, I will personally deliver the artworks to you and install them professionally.
6. At the end of the rental period, you can decide flexibly whether you would like to:

extend or end the rental period,

choose another artwork, or

purchase the rented piece.
Prices:

“Start” service fee for consultation, delivery, installation and collection: €30–€60 depending on the effort involved.

The rental price is based on the purchase price of the artwork:

Purchase price up to €170: €25 rental fee per six months

Purchase price up to €350: €50 rental fee per six months
-
Purchase price over €350: €75 rental fee per six months

“Change” service fee for consultation, delivery and installation of additional artworks: €20.
If you decide to purchase an artwork at a later date, all rental payments already made will be fully deducted from the purchase price.
Important information
During the rental period, you are responsible for any damage to the artwork. Transport to and from your premises is at my own risk.
It is possible that I may need an artwork for an exhibition or that it may be sold. In such cases, I will of course discuss this with you well in advance and refund the rental fee for the remaining rental period on a pro rata basis.
